Matthew Brown (he/him) Registered Social Worker

I approach therapy with the belief that everyone deserves a space where they feel understood, supported, and safe to explore what matters most to them. We all experience periods of pain, uncertainty, and disconnection, and my role is to walk alongside you with care and steadiness as you navigate those moments.

Drawing from a range of trauma-informed, evidence-based, and expressive therapies, I tailor my approach to meet each person’s unique needs. Whether we are working through traumatic experiences, strengthening family relationships, supporting a child’s emotional development, or building healthier patterns within couples, I strive to create an environment of grounding, compassion, and emotional safety.

My work with children often integrates play and sand tray therapy, offering developmentally attuned ways for young clients to express themselves and process difficult experiences. With individuals and families of all ages, I emphasize collaboration, empowerment, and a deep respect for each person’s strengths, resilience, and lived story. In every session, my intention is to help you feel seen and supported as you move toward greater clarity, connection, and wellbeing.

Krista Sickinger (she/her) Registered Psychotherapist

With a deeply client-centered and integrative approach to psychotherapy, I bring a calm, supportive presence to the therapeutic relationship. I meet each client exactly where they are, honouring their lived experiences and offering a safe, validating space to explore challenges with compassion and clarity. My work is shaped by a strong foundation in behavioural science, clinical psychology, and relational, evidence-based therapeutic practices.

I specialize in supporting neurodivergent individuals, drawing on my background as a Behaviour Analyst to bring insight, structure, and sensitivity to the therapeutic process. Whether navigating anxiety, emotional regulation, trauma, or the complexities of everyday life, I work collaboratively with clients to identify strengths, build resilience, and move toward meaningful and sustainable change.

My personal passion for yoga and mindfulness has deeply informed my understanding of the connection between emotional energy, embodiment, and wellbeing. These perspectives naturally weave into my work, helping clients cultivate greater awareness, balance, and inner steadiness.

Outside of my clinical work, I live in Cobourg with my husband, our dog Frank, and our cat Sigmund. I find joy in traveling, crocheting, and spending time outdoors—practices that nurture my own sense of grounding and connection.

Hello! My name is Vivian Simone (they/she). I am a Registered Psychotherapist.

I offer a non-judgmental, relational approach to psychotherapy. Specialties include strengthening emotional regulation, navigating family dynamics, depth work, supporting transitions, and healing from trauma. I am a queer therapist, available to work with individuals and couples from most walks of life, identities, and neurodiversities. I enjoy working with people who have done therapy before and are curious to try again or those who are brand new and ready to look deeply at themselves and their relationships. I also really enjoy providing psychotherapy to other therapists and people who are passionate about mental and emotional health.

Together, we can tend to the impact of past events and envision your hopes for the future, all while connecting with what you experience now. When you come to sessions and share your inner world with me, I will hold it with curiosity and care. I understand how challenging it can be to seek support and build trust with someone new. I also know the profound potential for healing and growth that can come from these connections. Whatever you bring in, I will meet you there.
